exploring pondicherry, where the air is sweet and the nights are warm
i'm sitting here, sipping on a coffee, and i just checked the temperature - it's a balmy 25.18 degrees celsius out there, feels like 25.79 if you're walking around, which i highly recommend. the humidity is a bit high at 78%, but that's just part of the charm.
i've been wandering around this city for a while now, and i have to say, the *neighbors are pretty cool - if you get bored, you can always take a short drive to chennai or vellore and explore what they have to offer. someone told me that the best filter coffee in town is at a small place near the beach, so i'm definitely checking that out.
i heard that the local market has some amazing street food, so i'm planning to head there tonight. it's going to be a long night, but i'm excited to see what this city has to offer. the pressure is a bit low at 1015, but that's not really something you notice when you're walking around, unless you're really into weather like i am. i've been talking to some of the locals, and they all seem to have their own opinions about the best places to eat - some say it's the seafood restaurants near the beach, while others swear by the street food in the old town.
i've also been checking out some of the local tours - someone warned me about the scams that can happen if you're not careful, but i'm always up for an adventure. all in all, i'm really enjoying my time here, and i would definitely recommend it to anyone who loves traveling* and trying new things.
