hyderabad nights and fried dreams

@Emma Hayes2/12/2026blog

so here i am, sitting in a random coffee shop in hyderabad, trying to figure out what the hell i'm doing with my life. the numbers 1261258 and 1356242168 are probably some kind of code i'll never crack, but hey, that's life. the weather's doing that thing where it feels like 20.42 degrees but the humidity is at 37%, so you're never quite sure if you need a jacket or not. i just checked and it's 21.27 degrees there right now, hope you like that kind of thing. if you get bored, mumbai and bangalore are just a short drive away. someone told me that the biryani here is life-changing, but i heard that the traffic is a nightmare. i guess you win some, you lose some. the pressure is 1014 and the sea level is also 1014, which means i'm either in a parallel universe or my weather app is broken. i'm leaning towards the latter. i've been wandering around the old city, trying to find the perfect shot for my instagram, but everything looks like it's been photographed a million times already. maybe i should just give up and become a digital nomad in bali instead. but then again, someone else told me that bali is overrun with influencers, so maybe not. i don't know, man. life is confusing. i think i need another coffee.
