is tasikmalaya worth moving to? 2026 messy truth bomb

now, the downsides. nightlife is basically non-existent. if you're into clubbing or late-night cocktails, you'll be disappointed. also, public transport is a joke. you're either on an angkot (minivan) or you're walking. bring comfy shoes.

and jobs? if you're not remote or running your own hustle, good luck. most gigs are local trade or agriculture-based. not exactly booming with tech startups.

still, if you're a budget student, a street artist looking for peace, or just someone who wants to slow down and save money, tasikmalaya has a weird charm. it's not flashy, but it's real.
