Pune's Perfect Weather & My Messy Morning in the Garden City

so i just checked and it's...there right now, hope you like that kind of thing. 21.1 degrees, feels like 20.28, humidity low enough that my hair's not a total frizz disaster but high enough that my skin's not screaming. pressure's steady, like a calm before the monsoon tease. honestly, it's the kind of day that makes you want to drag your laptop outside and pretend you're working from a cafe, but you know you'll just end up staring at the sky. maybe that's the point.

i wandered down to the local chai stall, the one where the guy knows exactly how i like my ginger tea, extra spicy. someone told me that place has the best chai in the whole pune, but i heard another rumor that the owner's cat judges your life choices. true story. anyway, the weather's perfect for exploring, but honestly, my motivation is about as high as the humidity. if you get bored, nearby cities are just a short drive away, but let's be real, who's rushing anywhere?

i tried to find a decent coffee spot online, but the reviews are all over the place. someone told me that cafe x has the best latte art, but the wifi is spotty. another review i overheard at the bus stop said the pastries at y are divine, but the service moves slower than a sloth on a lazy sunday. i'm not even sure if those are real reviews or just drunk advice from last weekend. honestly, i just grabbed a random place and hoped for the best. the weather's great for wandering, though. you can walk for miles without sweating like a pig.

if you're into history, there's this old fort nearby, but i heard it's a bit of a hike and the entrance fee is a total rip-off. someone told me that the local museum has some cool artifacts, but it's closed on mondays. classic. i ended up just sitting in a park, watching the world go by, feeling the gentle breeze. it's the simple things, right? the weather's doing its thing, the neighbors are probably complaining about the same thing, and i'm just here, trying to write this post before i get distracted by a squirrel.

here's a map to get you started, though honestly, you'll probably just get lost and find something better:

and some pictures to inspire you, or maybe just to look at pretty things:

so yeah, that's my messy, slightly sleep-deprived take on pune today. the weather's nice, the coffee's hit or miss, and the city keeps rolling. hope you find your own perfect spot.
