Remote Work in Bacoor: Is it a Digital Nomad Paradise?

so here's the thing about bacoor. it's not exactly the first place that pops into your head when you think "digital nomad paradise." but hear me out. if you're a freelance photographer like me, chasing light and cheap rent, this place has some weird charm. i mean, rent here is about 40% cheaper than in manila. you can snag a decent one-bedroom for around 15k pesos a month. that's like, two trips to a fancy coffee shop in makati, gone.

and the internet? well, it's not fiber-optic lightning, but it's stable enough for uploading jpegs and doing zoom calls without looking like a glitchy ghost. i've had worse in "central business districts."

speaking of which, the coworking scene is still budding. there's this place called *kafini coffee & coworking* that's got decent vibes and strong wifi. locals say it's the spot for remote workers who don't want to feel like they're in a corporate cage.

now, the weather. it's hot. like, "why did i wear black jeans" hot. but there's always a random rain shower in the afternoon that cools things down just enough to make you forget you're sweating through your shirt.

and if you ever get bored of bacoor's slower pace, manila is just a short drive away. perfect for when you need a hit of city chaos or a decent ramen fix.

random overheard gossip from a barista: "don't trust the tricycle drivers near sm bacoor. they'll quote you prices like you're made of gold."

so, is bacoor a digital nomad paradise? not in the instagrammable, co-working-in-a-jungle kind of way. but if you're a budget-conscious creative who values space, quiet, and a slower rhythm, it's got potential. just bring sunscreen and a fan.
