São Paulo: A Digital Nomad's Guide to the Concrete Jungle
just landed in são paulo and boy, is it a trip. this city is a sprawling metropolis that's got a little something for everyone, especially if you're a digital nomad like me.
let's dive into what i've discovered so far.
first off, the weather here is pretty mild right now.
i just checked and it's a balmy 23.55°c with a humidity of 86%. not too shabby if you ask me.
pack a light jacket and some sunscreen and you'll be good to go.
as for where to stay, i've been crashing in a killer airbnb in vila madalena. it's got great wifi, a comfy bed, and it's just a stone's throw from some of the best coffee shops and bars in the city. speaking of which, if you're looking for a caffeine fix, check out coffee lab. their pour overs are top notch.
if you're looking to explore, there's no shortage of cool neighborhoods to check out.
i heard that pinheiros and bella vista are definitely worth a visit if you want to get a taste of the local art and food scene.
and if you're feeling adventurous, hop on the metro and head to liberdade, the city's japanese neighborhood, for some killer sushi and mochi.
one thing to keep in mind: são paulo is huge. like, really huge. so don't try to tackle it all at once. pick a neighborhood or two to explore each day and take your time. and if you need a break from the hustle and bustle, ibirapuera park is a great spot to chill out and people watch.
oh, and if you're looking for some nightlife action,
i overheard some locals raving about a club called d-edge.
apparently it's the place to be if you're into electronic music and dancing until the sun comes up.
