straight outta NADAMPAYALIYAM and me
so like i just wandered into nadampalayiyam which is this tiny spot in tiruppur tamil nadu. you wouldn't believe it. it's all about making clothes here. seriously like everyone's in the industry. i checked the google maps thing and it's this coordinate mess 11.1932,77.2450. the map... wait hold on let me embed that thing yeah there it is. looks like a weird rectangle with some lines. not helpful.
i just checked and it's 21.8 degrees which is... exactly what i expected. humid as heck 83% humidity. you can feel the sweat before you start. hope you like sticky things.
if you get bored tiruppur is right next door. coimbatore is like 50 km away. that's nothing but still. maybe go there for better food or whatever.
someone told me that the air here is so polluted from all the dyeing factories. they said the water is no good either. probably true. i dont have any proof but that's what they said.
people here are just regular folk. no big names. maybe some textile workers. i asked about local food and they said parotta with salna. that's the deal. not fancy. but hey it's tamil nadu so you know what that is. maybe some chicken chettinad? but again same as everywhere else.
so that's nadampalayiyam. not the place for a tourist. just a place where they make clothes and suffer the heat. leave a comment if you've been there. probably not.
