The Best Public and Private Schools in Karaj: A Rambling Guide

so i was driving around karaj the other day and saw these pretty green trees near some white concrete buildings. it was like nothing i'd ever seen before. anyway, my friend asked me if i'd looked into the schools in karaj and i was like "not really, what's the deal with those?" and then i started doing some research and here's what i found out.

*Alborz International School

apparently, this school is pretty well-regarded in karaj. it's a private school that's located in the new development area of dasht-e Karaj and it's supposed to have a pretty good reputation for academics and extracurricular activities. one thing to note is that it's a pretty expensive school, with tuition ranging from 100,000 to 200,000 rials per year.

Bastan Shoman Public School

my friend who's from karaj told me about this school and said it's one of the best public schools in the area. it's supposed to have a really strong focus on science and math, and the teachers are all pretty experienced. one thing to note is that the school is located in a bit of a rough neighborhood, but it seems like the students there are all pretty motivated.

anyway, back to the schools. i also looked into some other options, like
Kashan University*, which is supposed to have some pretty good programs in engineering and computer science. but, to be honest, i'm not really sure how competitive the admissions process is or anything like that. maybe someone from karaj can chime in and give me some advice?

the weather in karaj is usually pretty nice, with mild winters and hot summers. but, if you're planning on visiting, you should know that it can get pretty crowded in the city during the summer months. maybe try to go in the spring or fall instead?

in any case, i hope this helps anyone who's thinking of moving to karaj or just visiting for a while. it's definitely a unique and interesting place, and i think there's a lot to explore.
