tokyo's messy streets and my 13-degree adventure

i was wandering around tokyo when i decided to check the weather. it's 13 degrees right now which is... there right now hope you like that kind of thing. the forecast said it's going to stay around that so i guess it's okay for walking. i checked the app and it's like a mild day not too hot not too cold. maybe i should have worn a jacket but i forgot. i guess that's my mistake.

the neighbors here are... not really neighbors. more like people who live in the same building as me. if you get bored there are other cities like osaka or kyoto just a short drive away. it's not like tokyo is the only place to be but sometimes you need a change of scenery.

someone told me that the subway can get really packed during rush hour so maybe avoid the 9am and 5pm slots. i heard that the locals are pretty friendly but maybe a bit nosy which is fine if you're into that. another person said the food here is amazing but you have to ask for the right stuff. i tried a place and got something that looked like a blank plate. maybe that's the magic of tokyo.

i checked tripadvisor and saw some reviews about the local café. yelp had a guide on the best ramen spots. also the local board had some tips on avoiding tourist traps. i guess that's useful. not sure if i'll use it but whatever.

i just checked and it's 13 degrees again. i wonder if the temperature is trying to tell me something. maybe it's like a reminder to stay indoors. or maybe it's just being itself.Either way it's there and i'm outside.

the wind is blowing and it's carrying the smell of street food. i heard that the neighbors are starting to get annoyed by the noise. not sure if that's true but it sounds plausible. i guess i'll keep that in mind when i'm out late.

i saw a photo on unsplash of a red bridge over a river with cherry blossoms. it looked beautiful. i wish i could take a picture like that but my phone is acting up. maybe i should buy a new one. or maybe i should just enjoy the 13 degrees and the chaos of tokyo.

someone told me that the city has a lot of hidden spots. not sure if that's true but it's possible. i guess if you're willing to look. also i heard that the weather here is unpredictable. that's definitely true. one minute it's 13 degrees the next it's 15. who knows.

i don't know why i'm writing this. maybe because i'm tired or maybe because i want to remember this day. either way it's messy and that's okay. tokyo isn't perfect but it's not bad either. just like me. imperfect but here.

i checked a local blog and they recommended a place for coffee. i didn't go but maybe next time. also i saw a review on yelp about a museum. not sure if i'll visit but it's an option.

the neighbors might be outside right now. i hope they're not too loud. i don't want to hear them. i'm trying to enjoy the 13 degrees and the mess of it all.

i think that's all. if you're reading this maybe you're in tokyo too. or maybe you're just curious. either way i hope you like this. it's messy and that's the point.
