Boulder's gnarly skate crawl: dripping skies & hidden spots

the sky is a weird shade of teal today and i just checked and it's drizzling like a leaky faucet there right now, hope you like that kind of thing. i’m rolling through the downtown *cobblestones and the rain‑slick rails feel extra gnarly after a night of wandering. if you get bored, Salida or Leadville are just a short drive away, but honestly the city’s own weird vibe keeps me glued. someone told me that the old skate spot behind the skate shop got a fresh coat of paint but the locals say it's cursed, so tread lightly. i heard that the coffee joint on 5th serves a brew that tastes like burnt toast and nostalgia. TripAdvisor review of the downtown skate park and Yelp for the local skate shop and Local board updates keep popping up on my feed. the sunrise over the river* is worth a quick snap if you’re into that.
