Is Makassar Pet-Friendly? Best Parks and Vet Services
so, i'm sitting here in makassar, trying to figure out if this place is any good for my furry buddy. i'm a digital nomad, been bouncing around southeast asia, and let me tell you, this city's got its quirks.
first off, the *parks are decent. justin, this local coffee snob i met, swore by Losari Beach. said it's perfect for a midday walk with your pup. i checked tripadvisor, and it's legit. people love it there. the beach ain't too busy, and there's enough shade for a chill afternoon.check it out here
the weather here is crazy. it's like a sauna, but with a breeze. not great for long walks, but my dog and i manage. neighbors are cool too. nice folks, mostly. they're just a hop, skip, and a jump from amarileen, and they chill on the weekends. i heard some rumblings about sketches in certain spots, so i warns you, pay attention to your surround when you're out with your four-legged buddy.
as for vet services, i hit up a local reddit and got some pocket intel. Anugrah Veterinary got some love. they say it's solid. read up on it. i got drunk advice from this one dude who swears by the doc there. said he's patched up his mutt more than once. and then there's Animal Hospital Makassar*. it's got decent reviews on yelp, so i'm giving it a shot. yelp it here
speaking of expenses, rent here is wild. according to my budgeting app, i'm dropping about 2-3 million rupiah for a decent spot. not bad, but it adds up. job market's alright if you're into the tech scene. but if you're like me, freelancing, it's chill. just gotta hustle, you know?
