just got back from boston and boy am i tired
okay so first of all, let's just start by saying that boston is not for the faint of heart. like, at all.
it's got more made land than any other city in the us (whatever that means) and the weather? don't even get me started. i just checked and it's -5.19 degrees there right now, with a "feels like" of -8.59. hope you like that kind of thing.
anyways, the city itself is pretty compact for a major metropolis, which is cool i guess. it's got these rolling hills and neighborhoods that are like, completely separated by water.
someone told me that it's because of all the glaciers from the last ice age or whatever. speaking of water, there's also a ton of humidity and fog. and snow. so much snow. 43 inches a year, apparently.
oh, and if you get bored, winthrop and revere are just a short drive away. though with the confusing map and all the water barriers, good luck getting there without getting lost. but hey, at least there's plenty to do in boston itself, like checking out the freedom trail or whatever. just don't expect me to go back there anytime soon, unless it's for a really good reason. like, a really good reason.
