lost in the heat, chasing the beat

lowercase letters are my friend today, as i'm running on fumes. i just checked and it's a balmy 25.25 degrees celsius with a feels-like temperature of 26.15, which is just perfect for a sweaty photoshoot. check out the reviews on TripAdvisor to see what others have to say about this place. i'm a freelance photographer, always on the lookout for good lighting, and let me tell you, the humidity here is no joke - 89% is pretty high, if you ask me. i've been walking around for hours, trying to find the perfect shot, and i stumbled upon this incredible spot, which i'll share with you in a minute. if you're looking for some inspiration, i recommend checking out Yelp for some top-rated spots. my neighbors in the hotel are being pretty loud, but i guess that's what i get for staying in a bustling city - if you get bored, lagos is just a short drive away, and i heard their nightlife is popping. someone told me that the local tourism board has some amazing recommendations for hidden gems, so be sure to check that out.

as you can see from the map, we're pretty close to some amazing spots. i heard that the food here is insane, and i'm not just talking about the street food - although, let's be real, that's usually the best part.

i took this photo earlier today, and i'm obsessed with how it turned out. the pressure is on to deliver some amazing shots, and i'm feeling it - 1013 mbar is no joke.

this guy was just walking down the street, and i had to capture the moment. i've been thinking about my next move, and i'm considering checking out some other nearby cities - maybe i'll head to ibadan next.

there's something about this photo that just speaks to me - maybe it's the tranquility of it all. anyway, that's all for now - i'm off to find some cheap coffee and maybe do some more exploring. check out wiki travel for some amazing tips and tricks.
