Pune's Digital Nomad Hideout: Where Coffee Meets Chaos

so i just landed in pune and my first thought was 'why did i think this was a good idea?' the weather's...there right now, hope you like that kind of thing. it's 22.85°c, feels like 21.97, which is basically 'why is my aircon suddenly a sauna?' but hey, at least the humidity's only 30%, so my hair's not staging a rebellion. pressure's 1016, which means the air's thick enough to chew on, and the sea level's 1016 while ground level's 938, so basically the city's breathing down my neck. if you get bored, ahmedabad are just a short drive away, but honestly, pune's got enough chaos to keep me busy for weeks. someone told me that the local chai is life-changing, but others swear it's just 'okay' with a side of 'why is this so expensive?' i heard that from a guy who looked like he'd been living in his backpack for months. i mean, he had a beard that could house a family of squirrels. anyway, i checked tripadvisor and yelp, and the consensus seems to be 'it's decent if you're not expecting five stars.' but let's be real, i'm not. i'm just here for the free wifi and the fact that my hostel has a rooftop where i can pretend i'm not a total tourist. oh, and the coffee. the coffee is important. i found this place called 'the caffeine conspiracy' where the barista looks like he's plotting world domination over a double espresso. it's legit. if you're into that sort of thing. and the map? well, here's where i'm currently pretending to work:

. now, onto the visuals because i'm too lazy to write more:
