shutter fatigue in chandigarh

just dragged my camera gear through another day in chandigarh. lens smudges, aching back, and the perpetual hunt for light that doesn't scream 'tourist trap'. i swear my tripod legs have more battle scars than some monuments here.

the weather’s this weird 17.65°C thing that feels like 17.17°C if you’re standing under a tree. damp enough to make my lens fog up, dry enough to make dust cling to every sensor. perfect if you like mild discomfort, i guess. hope you’re into that kind of thing.

spent hours hunting reflections in the capitol complex’s concrete curves. someone told me le corbusier’s structures get golden-hour magic around 6pm, but i overslept. again. heard whispers on Yelp about secret viewpoints behind the high court. might brave those tomorrow if my espresso holds out.

if you get tired of chandigarh’s grid, panchkula’s got hills. mohali’s got markets. both are short scoot rides away. like escaping a sudoku puzzle for a choose-your-own-adventure book.

found this chai stall near sector 17 where the owner glares at me for taking pictures but tops my cup for free. heard on TripAdvisor that his masala’s legendary. can’t verify - too busy dodging auto-rickshaws with my camera strap.

the edit queue’s a disaster. sunrise shots of the rock garden, blurry market portraits, and 47 angles of a pigeon on a sculpture. if my editing software crashes tonight, you’ll know why.

anyway. battery’s dead. feet’re numb. but this city’s got a rhythm. like a broken metronome that still makes sense. maybe i’ll find it tomorrow. or maybe i’ll just nap.
