i'm sitting here, sipping on a cold one, and i just checked the weather - it's a bit chilly, *17.08 degrees to be exact, with a feels-like temp of 16.49, so, yeah, it's basically the same, and i'm thinking, hope you're into that kind of thing, you know, the whole layering up vibe. anyway, i was talking to this local, juan, and he was telling me about the whole humidity situation - 63% is no joke, man. i mean, i'm a touring session drummer, so i'm used to being on the road, but this place, guadalajara, it's got its own unique energy, you feel me?
if you're looking for some sick drum spots, i heard that tripadvisor has some dope recommendations. and, for real, if you get bored, zapopan and tonala are just a short -colectivo ride away, you know, for when you need a different drumming vibe. someone told me that café con características has the best chilaquiles in town, so, yeah, i'm gonna check it out, and i'll probably grab a coffee at yelp-recommended ahorro liberation, too.
i'm not gonna lie, the pressure is on to find the best drumming spots, but i'm all about that grnd_level life, you know, keeping it real, keeping it 819, and i heard that the sea_level pressure is pretty cool, too, so, yeah, i'm gonna check that out, maybe grab a snack at la hormiga, they have some foodie-approved tacos, apparently.
anyway, i was talking to this other local, luis, and he was telling me about the whole neighborhood situation - lafayette is the place to be, apparently, and i'm thinking, yeah, i can see why, it's got that whole local thing going on, you know? and, for real, if you're looking for some sick local deals, i heard that local guadalajara board has some dope recommendations, and, yeah, i'm probably gonna check out tianguis OEM, too, for some unique drumming gear, maybe grab a local-approved corn tortilla at la fonda, they have some amazing chorizo*, apparently.
